Formats that work for Home & Kitchen
Two original campaign concepts
Counter-space test
Hook: “What stays on this tiny counter?”
- 01Measure the free area
- 02Use the appliance once
- 03Clean and store each part
Dialogue: “This is all the counter space I have. The base fits beside the board, the removable part rinses in the sink, and both pieces store under the shelf when breakfast is done.”
One-drawer reset
Hook: “Fixing the drawer that jams every morning”
- 01Open the stuck drawer
- 02Sort items into measured sections
- 03Repeat the opening from the same angle
Dialogue: “The drawer caught on loose tools every morning. I measured first, gave the tall pieces one lane, and kept the daily items at the front. Now it opens without the shuffle.”
Compliance and disclosure
- Follow product safety instructions and food-handling guidance.
- Do not conceal preparation or cleanup time.
- Keep children, pets, and flammable items clear of demonstrations.
Planning and review notes
A home or kitchen demonstration should cover the whole task cost: setup, active use, cleanup, and storage. The counter-space concept begins with a measurement because “compact” means little without a real surface. Keep the cutting board, outlet, and sink in the wider frame, then show each removable part being cleaned and stored. Do not skip warm-up, assembly, or drying time that a buyer would experience.
For the jammed drawer, repeat the opening from the same angle before and after sorting. The dividers only solve the problem if the daily tools remain in the drawer and the mechanism clears them. Food contact, heat, blades, electricity, and child safety take priority over a dramatic close-up. Use the manual’s procedure, keep flammable items outside the set, and never stage an unsafe shortcut for pace.
Frequently asked questions
What should a kitchen appliance demo show besides cooking?
Include assembly, counter footprint, controls, cleanup, cord handling, and realistic storage so convenience is not judged from use alone.
How are appliance dimensions made credible on video?
Show a real measurement and enough surrounding counter or cabinet context for viewers to compare it with their own space.
May setup time be edited out?
Repetitive motion can be shortened, but required assembly, preheating, resting, and cleanup should be shown or accurately disclosed.
