Formats that work for Food & Beverage

Two original campaign concepts

Three sounds of preparation

Hook: “The sounds that tell me breakfast is ready”

  1. 01Open the sealed package
  2. 02Capture the pour and stir
  3. 03Finish with the first crisp bite

Dialogue: “The seal opens, the milk hits the bowl, and the first bite still has a crunch. That is the whole breakfast before my first meeting.”

Package to plate

Hook: “Exactly what one package serves”

  1. 01Show the unopened weight label
  2. 02Prepare according to instructions
  3. 03Plate the resulting portions

Dialogue: “This is one unopened pack, prepared exactly as the label says. It fills these two bowls with the garnish kept separate, so you can judge the serving before adding extras.”

Compliance and disclosure

  • Depict the actual product and disclose styling substitutions.
  • Follow food safety and allergen communication requirements.
  • Avoid unsupported nutrition or health claims.

Planning and review notes

Food footage can be sensory without altering what the package delivers. The breakfast-sound concept records the actual seal, pour, stir, and first bite with close microphones while keeping the product and preparation visible. Avoid replacing texture with nonfood styling materials or mixing a different product for the hero shot. Clean surfaces, safe holding temperatures, and allergen separation belong in the production plan.

The package-to-plate concept is an honest serving demonstration. Show the unopened weight, prepare it according to the printed method, and divide the result into the two bowls seen at the end. Keep garnish separate and identify additions not included in the package. Bowl size, lens distance, and camera angle can all exaggerate quantity, so include a wider table view that lets shoppers judge scale.

Frequently asked questions

May food styling substitutes be used in a product video?

Any material substitution that changes the apparent product should be avoided or clearly disclosed; the hero serving should represent what buyers receive.

How should serving size be demonstrated?

Start with one unopened package, follow its directions, show added ingredients, and plate the complete result in realistically scaled ware.

Which food safety details affect filming?

Manage handwashing, clean surfaces, allergen separation, hot equipment, safe temperatures, and discard limits across repeated takes.
